Terms and Expressions:
执着于 (zhízhuó yú) means to be obsessed with, to be fixated on, or to cling stubbornly to something. It describes someone who persists in a belief, goal, or feeling and refuses to let go, often to the point of being unreasonable or overly determined.
Here are a few examples:
她太执着于过去,根本无法开始新的生活。
Tā tài zhízhuó yú guòqù, gēnběn wúfǎ kāishǐ xīn de shēnghuó.
She's too stuck in the past to start a new life.
Yǒu shíhòu, tài zhízhuó yú wánměi fǎn'ér huì ràng rén tíngzhì bù qián.
Sometimes, being too focused on perfection can actually hold you back.
中枢 (zhōngshū) refers to the core, hub, or central part of a system—especially one that controls or coordinates other parts.
Here are a few examples:
北京是中国的政治中枢。
Běijīng shì Zhōngguó de zhèngzhì zhōngshū.
Beijing is the political center of China.
Dànǎo shì réntǐ shénjīng xìtǒng de zhōngshū.
The brain is the control center of the human nervous system.
接纳(jiēnà) means to accept or to receive (someone or something) willingly and without resistance. It often refers to accepting people, emotions, situations, or ideas with an open mind and heart. It has a deeper, more emotional tone than words like 接受.
Here are a few examples:
我们要学会接纳自己的不完美。
Wǒmen yào xuéhuì jiēnà zìjǐ de bù wánměi.
We need to learn to accept our imperfections.

When you come to terms with your own ordinariness, recognize your limits, and let go of the need to become someone in particular—choosing instead to focus on the life you're living right now—your brain’s anxiety starts to quiet down on its own. And that’s often when a genuine sense of happiness begins to bubble up.
It’s only when we truly accept our ordinary selves that we can wholeheartedly engage with the present and live it well. As someone once said, *"To see life clearly and still love it—that’s real heroism." Remember, an ordinary life is still a meaningful one. Being able to live as an ordinary person and live well—that, too, is a rare kind of happiness.
You can flex your muscles by doing a Paraphrasing practice to round things up.
